Nicki Minaj Tame Her Gang After Quavo Apologize To Her

15 April 2018

Nicki went and stopped the interwebs when she dropped Barbie Tingz and Chun-Li.

Nicki felt that Quavo and Cardi were colluding against her, and cited the recording process of their single "Motorsport" as a prime example of their connivance. In the song, she also references the mutant Storm from the X-Men and Lara Croft, another 90s-era female video game character, and she even tosses in a nod to Prince's song "Darling Nikki". She also shared a clip of herself at Coachella hanging out with Kylie Jenner, Quavo, Chance The Rapper, Kourtney Kardashian, The Weeknd, and more celebrities.

Additionally, the two new tracks follow Minaj's latest feature on Quality Control Music's "She For Keeps", with the Migos' Quavo.

Cardi had referenced the song during an interview previous year, when she said: "When I heard the track, her verse wasn't finished". I didn't hear that verse.

Nicki Minaj feels like she's been "ambushed" by Cardi B.

As for why the changes happened, Nicki claims she was pressured by the record label (at Cardi's request) to change the lyric, tweeting on Thursday: "How can you say someone changed their verse & forget to say Quavo TOLD me to remove my singing part (which I loved) & Atlantic told me to remove your name from my verse per your request?"

"When I heard the track, her verse wasn't finished - well, it's not the verse that is out right now - and Quavo told me to get on the song, and I just felt like it was a flawless opportunity for me to be on a track that's big like that", Cardi said. Dressed like a dominatrix, Barbie holds the phone for a selfie-styled thirst trap visual that focuses on her curves.
