Piers Morgan calls Meghan Markle's sister a 'vulture'

16 May 2018

"You've been trashing her for two years you little vulture".

Piers Morgan didn't hold back during his interview with Meghan Markle's sister Samantha on Good Morning Britain. But the half-sister of Meghan Markle appeared for a Skype interview with the British host and got more than she expected.

Samantha has made something of a cottage industry out of talking about her estranged sibling who, she admits, she hasn't seen since 2010 and has had one conversation with since then.

Samantha defended herself by claiming that those statements were pulled from "wholly inaccurate" tabloids.

If you've been living under a rock, Samantha is the daughter of Thomas Markle, Meghan's father, who has been caught setting up paparazzi shots of himself for money.

There are doubts about whether Thomas Markle plans to attend Saturday's royal wedding. You said Hollywood's changed her and she shouldn't be with Prince Harry and the Royal Family should be aware of how appalling she is.

"Because the media have treated him in a shabby way". He told Markle she was the vulture; after all, it was she that was picking the bones of her younger sister for her own benefit.

Clearly irked by the claims, Morgan responded: "There's no bigger media vulture in this wedding than you".

"How do you have the gall to come on here and talk about media vultures".

His guest explained that her family, particularly her father Thomas, has been "suffering" at the hands of the media.

"But when he called me panicking on the freeway because he's in a risky situation, being followed by seven or eight cars..."

Fifty-three-year-old Samantha - who has spent the past couple of years promoting her ridiculous tell-all book The Diary Of Princess Pushy's Sister - told Morgan she takes full responsibility for making arrangements for paparazzi to take pictures of her father making preparations for his daughter's big day. "I think a person has a right to say 'Enough is enough, '" she said.
