Michael Moore Releases Trailer For Anti-Trump Film "Fahrenheit 11/9"

09 August 2018

Fahrenheit 11/9 will see Moore sink his teeth into the phenomenon of Donald Trump and all the odd things that have come with it - the emergence of the alt-right, total reversals of decades of American foreign policy, and a society more disillusioned than ever.

Now, Moore is back with Fahrenheit 11/9, a film that focuses on the Trump Administration. Check out the Fahrenheit 11/9 trailer below, and check out the movie when it hits theaters on September 21! It will explore the two most important questions of the Trump Era: How the f**k did we get here, and how the f**k do we get out?

Michael Moore is prepping a documentary, Fahrenheit 11/9, about President Trump and says the leader of the free world should be anxious.

The trailer, released by HuffPost on Thursday, shows Moore and some of the prominent public figures of the Trump era: Parkland, Fla., shooting survivors David Hogg and Emma González; former Trump campaign adviser Roger StoneRoger Jason StoneIntentionally deceiving voters should be a crime 'Manhattan Madam' to testify before Mueller grand jury: report Crystal ball time: Where are we headed politically?

That last part seems like a naive statement, and unless Moore is hiding some bombshell reveal in his movie, I feel like this film isn't going to have much of an impact on the national conversation. In June of 2016, Michael Moore famously and publicly predicted that Trump would indeed win the White House in November by winning the states of Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania.

This is actually Moore's second Trump-related documentary over the past two years.

-Michael MooreThe ultimate message of film-which Moore describes as a "comedy/horror documentary"-appears to be a bridge between the argument that Trump presents an existential and unique threat and this message to those who oppose him: Stop despairing".

"American journalism schools have not trained students how to cover an authoritarian leader", Moore warned. They're getting steamrolled by a tyrant because Trump understands media and understands the country he lives in more than those that cover him do.

Fahrenheit 11/9 opens on September 21.
