Valentine's Day 2019: Fortnite gears up with Share the Love Event

Double XP weekends will run February 15th - 17th and 22nd - 24th so this is a great month to play catch up if you've been falling behind.

Valentine's Day is coming early to Fortnite: Battle Royale.

The placement matches for Fortnite's "Share the Love" competitive series begin tomorrow, February 9 and over the weekend players will be placed into four divisions. Complete challenges and earn sweet rewards all while shooting for that glorious Victory Royale win!

There'll be a few new features to the tournament structure added throughout the Share the Love Competitive Series, with more unlocking with the v7.40 update. In celebration of Valentine's Day, you're invited to join us for the #ShareTheLove event.

Players who now support a Creator or enter a Creator Code between 8 - 22 February will receive the free Cuddle Hearts Wrap wrap when the v7.40 update releases.

Jump into Fortnite and share the love with your favorite Creator!

For a start, any players who support a Creator or enter a Creator Code between now and the end of the event will get the free Cuddle Hearts Wrap, which you'll receive when the v7.40 update releases.

It's February and it's time for the worldwide craze of Valentine's day which has become the global day for expressing love and Epic Games is making the best of this opportunity to celebrate it with players. Battle Pass owners will also receive some cool unlockable styles for the Power, Trog and Onesie outfits when they complete all the Overtime Challenges.

Look out for special sprays related to the "Share the Love" Competitive Series for each division of the competition! . Epic Games will be rotating set of featured islands, appearing in Fortnite Creative every day.

Those who manage to go all the way and earn a pin during a Champion Division session will unlock access to the Champion Division Finals to take place on 23 and 24 February. The blog post says it's "right before the arrival of Season 8" which could mean that Season 7 ends on February 28 when the 8.0 patch drops but that's still unconfirmed.
