Paul Scholes reveals the ONE thing that could HELP in Barcelona clash

09 Апреля 2019

Barcelona come to the home of Manchester United on Wednesday night for the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie with Ole Gunnar Solskjær's side.

The midfielder won the Champions League in his debut season at the Nou Camp in 2015, although since then European football's top prize has been kept under a firm grip by Real Madrid until this season.

All eyes will be on strike duo Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez as Barcelona visit Manchester United in the Champions League this week, but defensive lynchpin Gerard Pique is proving equally important to the Catalans' treble bid.

Anthony Martial came off the bench during Man United's loss to Wolves last week but the Frenchman should start up front alongside Marcus Rashford as Solskjaer is expected to play with a front two.

"You have to respect United for this comeback, for scoring three goals in Paris, for the organisation and fight in the team with so many young players and a new coach".

"We want these games against the biggest clubs and the biggest teams".

"I don't think Barcelona are as good as they were", Scholes - who faced Barca six times in his career, including as a substitute in both the 2009 and 2011 finals - said. You've got to aim to win titles. "But it won't make any difference to me", he told the Mirror. "You can not aim too low at this club".

The Hammers are likely to demand a fee in the region of £50m for the player, who only recently switched his global allegiances from the Republic of Ireland to England.

He said: "We're playing against a good team but there is something special about this group of players".

The Deloittes report authors point out: "For the first time since the 2008/09 season, the quarter-finals include four Premier League teams, with Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur generating 63% (€2.2 billion) of the quarterfinalists' total revenue".
